Rachel is a LMSW. She provides counseling to clients experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, and psychosis and Psychotic Disorders. Rachel’s understands the importance of having a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore life's ups and downs, and with her chill, calm demeanor clients feel both comfortable and appreciated. She works with clients to meet their challenges with curiosity and openness. Her fresh perspective balanced with meeting people where they are allows people to take risks both in session and in their real lives. In her practice, Rachel uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Therapy. She is engaged with social justice issues, most recently the issue of lead poisoning in Baltimore city. In her free time, Rachel enjoys writing music, playing with her dogs, and spending time outside.
Shardae Carter is a LGPC with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Shardae is passionate about counseling clients who are interested in finding their purpose and regaining control over their lives. She is particularly focused on helping people process their past or current trauma, manage their grief/loss, navigate family/relationship conflict, and maneuver their life transitions. With Shardae, clients can expect to identify their strengths and face inner conflicts that may be impairing their ability to live a more satisfying life. Shardae has such a warm, disarming demeanor that children and adults immediately feel safe with her, and trust that she will understand and support them while guiding them to feel better about themselves and their lives.
